The Wellness Extension.
My journey toward prioritizing well-being began when I was 27 and lost my mom to cancer. At the time, I was transitioning from a career in economics consulting to Human Resources, with no children and a career just beginning to take shape. This loss illuminated a critical need: support for personal well-being at work. My mother’s enduring lessons about valuing wellness have profoundly influenced my path.
I founded The Wellness Extension to bring well-being to the forefront of workplace culture, helping employees thrive and bring their best selves to work. The pandemic underscored the importance of community and connection, even in hybrid environments, and reinforced my commitment to fostering those bonds.
With 20 years of HR leadership experience, I’ve seen a gap between traditional HR offerings and what employees truly need to feel supported. Many programs lack the personal touch required to create meaningful connections. Through The Wellness Extension, I combine my HR expertise—spanning compensation, benefits, performance management, and beyond—with a passion for building genuine human connections.
