Founder, The Wellness Extension

I am so glad you stopped by – here is a bit about why I started
The Wellness Extension.

My journey toward prioritizing well-being began profoundly when I was 27 and lost my mom to cancer. This loss came before I had children or fully established my career, which had just shifted from economics consulting to Human Resources. The experience highlighted a crucial need: support for personal well-being at work. My mother’s lessons on valuing well-being have profoundly shaped my career.

I founded The Wellness Extension to focus on well-being in the workplace, aiming to help employees bring their best selves to work. Witnessing firsthand how the pandemic intensified the desire for community, I recognized the ongoing need for connection, even in hybrid environments.

With 20 years of experience leading HR teams, I identified a gap between what traditional HR can offer and what employees truly need in terms of well-being. Traditional programs often lack the personal touch needed to foster genuine connections. Through The Wellness Extension, I bridge this gap by combining my extensive HR toolkit—encompassing compensation, benefits, performance management, and more—with a passion for human connection through meaningful wellness initiatives.

From organizing quarterly wellness challenges to offering expert guidance on topics like sleep, hydration, and nutrition, I create innovative programs that boost engagement and camaraderie among colleagues. The Wellness Extension ensures that holistic health, well-being, and happiness remain central to your organizational culture. Whether through conducting well-being surveys, coordinating yoga classes, or leading wellness challenges, we offer both turnkey and customizable solutions to support and enhance your HR team and company culture.
